1990 World Aerobic Championship
The 1990 World Aerobic Championship, a landmark event in the history of competitive aerobics, take place in San Diego, California, in June 8th. Nearly 100 top aerobic athletes from five continents and fifteen nations have assembled in the San Diego Convention Center for this unprecedented event. This is the largest gathering of International Aerobic Champions ever to be assembled and the first event where every competitor is a National Champion in their native country. Technical merit is valued at 60% of the athlete's overall score while the artistic presentation accounts for the remaining 40%.
