2006 International Aerobic Championship
The International Aerobics Championship takes place again in Redondo Beach, near Los Angeles.
The Italian superstar mixed pair Giovanna Lecis and Wilkie Satti wins the first of the three consecutive golds with which their careers will end (the Suzuki World Cup and the FIG World Series will follow within a few months).
The other medals all go to the east of the world: China (trio), Korea (Individual Men) and New Zealand: Angela McMillan, also previously an ANAC Junior athlete, wins her first Senior title in this competition.
